Simeto river – Nebrodi Park – Etna Nord area and Alcantara river
Full day: 9.00 – 18.00
– Departure from Fontana del Cherubino or from meeting point Condorelli bar (Belpasso);
– Continue in direction of Adrano – Ponte dei Saraceni/Forre laviche del Simeto, naturalistic-
archeological site;
– Stopover at Bronte: Gole della Canterra-Serravalle, tasting pistachio typical proucts;
– Visit to the Ducea di Nelson-S. Maria di Maniace;
– Continue to the river source of Alcantara between Floresta and Randazzo;
– Stopover for rustic lunch, forest pic-nic area S. Maria del Bosco;
– Randazzo: lava flow eruption Etna 1981.
– Alcantara River Park, gorges with columnar basalts and typical “gurne”;
You come back to Fontana del Cherubino or to meeting point.
